Looks like you missed the mark here... the bottom one is the tell... We want the 1/4 circle to occupy a perfect square, right up to the edge and to start with a high enough resolution on your canvas to avoid having a tiny module and lots of pixelization. The key is to use a grid, properly set up so the circle "snaps" to each edge of the grid square. Stroke the line inside the circle selection so it doesn't get cut off...
I like your colors and all, even though you missed the concept. These lessons are not easy. I get pretty frustrated at times, but once I watch the tutorial videos over and over, I begin to grasp the lesson. Good try. :)
